Instruction

The library faculty offers you and your students a wide variety of resources and services. We would love to arrange a visit to your courses. We prioritize focusing on the skills and concepts that help students become better researchers by offering instruction on topics like developing a research question and conducting a literature search. These skills and concepts are rooted in critical information literacy and are closely associated with the WSU’s UCORE Learning Goals of critical and creative thinking and information literacy. We are happy to visit your classroom in person or via video conference, or to contribute asynchronous instruction by creating online guides, videos, tutorials, or by participating in Canvas forums as “embedded librarians” for a course.
