Printing in the Library

The Library has printers available to help support your printing needs. This page provides an overview of how to print, how to get assistance with printing and some do's and don'ts. Please note that we are in middle of upgrading our printing systems so things will change Spring Semester 2025.

Printing is supported the Student Tech Fee and is currently no-charge.  Help us keep it no-charge by limiting waste and only printing essential items.

Accessing files on Library Computers

You need to use library computers to print which means you will need to be able to access your files on the Library Computers.  Here are some suggestions:

  • Log in to Canvas, myWSU, your student email, etc. from the Library Computers and open/download your files to print.
  • Download material from the source (e.g. journal articles from databases, etc.).
  • Email yourself a copy of the file(s).
  • Consult with the Reference Desk.

Printing Do's

  • Please print the essential things you need.
  • Remember to logout of your accounts and/or restart the computer when you are done.

Printing Dont's
