WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2017
12:00PM TO 1:00PM
Location: On the Quad in front of the library building (or inside, depending on the weather).

Librarians from WSU and Vancouver Community Library will host a HeboCon—or “crappy robot competition”—for non-engineers, where the goal is for the robots to fall over or otherwise “fail”! Participation is encouraged. Materials will be supplied and no experience is necessary.

Free and open to all. Hosted by Fort Vancouver Regional Library, WSU Vancouver Library, and the Common Reading program.

The Common Reading Program book for 2017/18 is “Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the American Dream,” by Joshua Davis. “Spare Parts” is available for purchase at The Bookie, or for short-term loan at the libray's Reserves shelf.
